Finally, my ballot ends up with an educational levy - Kent School District No. 415 Proposition No. 1 Replacement of Expiring Educational Programs and Operations Levy. This is what it says. An old levy is expiring, and this one will replace it. So cue my semi-regular growling about how we have to vote on THIS to keep our schools running, while there is stuff in the budget that goes through indirectly, through our elected representatives. And this is despite having in our state constitution that we must fund schools.
Yeah, you know the drill. Eat your veggies. See your dentist twice a year. Go vote Yes.
